- Grading Policies Change: University grading scales, grade-to-point mappings, and calculation methods can change from one academic year to another. Our calculators may not reflect the most recent policy changes for every institution
- University-Specific Rules: Individual universities, departments, or even programs within the same university may have specific rules that differ from the general institutional scale we use. Always consult your departmental handbook
- Rounding Differences: Different universities use different rounding conventions (to 2 decimal places vs. truncation, midpoint rounding, etc.). Our calculators use standard mathematical rounding which may produce results that differ slightly from your university's system
- Special Grade Categories: Grades such as Incomplete (I), Withdrawal (W), Pass/Fail (P/F), Audit (AU), and Transfer Credit (T) are handled differently by different institutions and may not be reflected in our standard calculators
- Repeat Course Policies: Whether a repeated course replaces the original grade or both grades are counted varies by institution and is not automatically reflected in our general calculators
- Manual Input Errors: The accuracy of results depends entirely on the accuracy of the data you enter. We cannot verify the information you provide

Results produced by CGPACalc.site calculators are estimates only and do not constitute official academic records. The only official source of your CGPA, GPA, grades, and academic standing is your university's official student information system, transcript, or academic record issued by the Registrar's Office.
